AUD $245.00
  • Duration: 7 Hours
  • Location: Chippendale, NSW

'Photoshop for Lightroom Users' can be done as a stand alone workshop, or together with 'Lightroom Essentials' and 'Lightroom Advanced' in an economical 3 workshop package.  In this workshop, you will learn how to begin using Photoshop with Lightroom.

Lightroom can handle a large majority of your image editing tasks plus it’s great at managing and organising your photos. In fact, on most occasions, only a few steps are required to get an image to shine.  There comes a point however, where you will want to do some additional editing that simply can’t be done in Lightroom.

This is where Photoshop comes in. Photoshop offers a greater lever of editing power and it is the tool to use for things like complicated cloning or removing objects from the image, sophisticated retouching, adding text, advanced sharpening, adding artistic filters and compositing multiple images such as replacing a dull sky.

Many photographers recommend that you use Lightroom as your image management system and as the starting and ending points of your post processing workflow. You then take particular images from Lightroom to Photoshop when you need more advanced editing and retouching tools that Lightroom doesn’t offer.

Lightroom & Photoshop are designed to work together to bring the most efficient and comprehensive editing capabilities you will need.

Learn how and when to pass your images from Lightroom to Photoshop to take advantage of Photoshops advanced editing capabilities above and beyond the adjustments you make to the images in Lightroom.
