Photography In Focus - Monthly Meetup

When: First Monday of every month.

Fee: $220 Yearly Membership  - Please note The yearly membership fee applies only for the year regardless of when joined. If you are thinking of joining in from October then we suggest you purchase the monthly fee until renewal is due again in February. 

BOOK to reserve your place for this 2.5  - 3 hr evening of continuous learning and socialising with peers.

We have a line up of passionate and wonderful experts ready to share their in-depth knowledge on a variety of photography topics and to share their infectious enthusiasm.

Each month we introduce a Photo Assignment centred around a compositional or technical topic that has been presented in the second half of the evening. We also have other gatherings on certain topics during the year when applicable.

• Attendees' photos will then be critiqued the following meet-up. 

• The critique nights are valuable learning opportunities.

• Come along and check out for yourself what it's all about.  

You can pay $33 per meeting and if you like it,  we charge an annual club membership to cover costs of $220 including GST per year.

This covers the monthly meetings plus gives you membership discounts  off selected special events and some workshops run by The Aperture Club.

Venue is primarily at The Aperture Studios in Leichhardt but can vary to other venues for certain events.

Meeting Place: The Aperture Studio's 55-57 Flood Street, Leichhardt. We will advise the next location at the end of each session.

We can also stream live to you via zoom with notice of your absence. This enables you to join in in unable to make the session if busy or out of town etc.

Time: 6.15 pm for a 6.30pm start and we finish around 9.00 - 9.15pm

At The Studio - We either get in pizza or you can bring your own food and drink.

Transport: Buses run frequently from the city and from Balmain. The bus stop is 20 meters aways. Parking is free on Norton Street after 7pm so parking for an hr is the cost of a bus fare. There is a council car park on the corner of Marion and Norton behind the Town Hall. Further down the side streets 5 mins walk is unlimited parking.
