BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY 2 DAY WORKSHOP – BERRY - We have extended this workshop from 2 to 4 days and have added accomodation and Dinner.

Join us for a 4 day 3 nights learning the art of bird photography an all immersive workshop surrounded by some of South Coasts most beautiful locations.
This 4 day workshop will take place further south than usual to make the most of our travel to capture the south coast's bird community.
We have accommodation reserved at the Quest Apartments at an Aperture Club only corporate rate and as we will be based there we encourage you to enjoy their hospitality.
Accomodation comprises of large apartment style 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom apartments. The 2 bedroom apartments have 2 bathrooms.
We will cover locations and bird species in coastal, mountains and wetland areas where we have the potential to see and photograph over 200 species of birdlife in natural habitat.
Bird Photographing changes with the seasons and every time you venture out, weather and nature will influence each experience, making it a unique opportunity to observe wildlife at its best and make connections with nature.

3 nights accomodation and 3 dinners

Location : Nowra Area NSW 2.5hrs south of Sydney
ACCOMODATION
is at Quest Apartments on the southern side of Nowra which offers spacious and well-appointed rooms and is also where we hold our lectures during the day.
You can book extra nights before or after the course if you want an extended break. The corporate rate will apply to extra nights as well.

Daily Program – Can change daily according to weather
The program gives you the opportunity to shoot 2 late afternoons and 2 early morning locations. We will also be shooting later in the days at a mountain refuge with a guided tour from one of our Birding Australia experts.
This is incorporated with some lectures and review work as well.
There is some time to explore the Berry township but consider an extra night if you need a chillout moment.
Enjoy an immersive few days of photography – the aim is to think and feel photography whilst developing your individual approach and ideas.
Note schedule can be altered depending on everyone’s needs etc. and is suitable for all levels of photographic skills.
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels in photography.

WALKING AND WEATHER
This is a gentle trip, which requires a low level of fitness. There will be a small amount of walking to and from shoot locations, occasionally on uneven surfaces with steps and inclines. If you have any doubts about your ability, please contact Sharon directly.
When you book you will receive a detailed packing list to help you plan.
MEALS
Meals are included in the tuition price but we will look at some enjoyable options.
Breakfast is not supplied so best to bring your own - each room has a full kitchen.
Lunch is also not included but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants and we can organize a picnic lunch if we so desire.
Dinners are provided but not drinks please pay for these separately.
BYO Alcohol is an option.
TRANSPORT
Car: Make your own way directly to Nowra.
Train: We are happy to organise pick up and drop offs to Nowra train station. It’s a very pleasant train journey from Central station.
Most of our clients prefer to have their own transport for this workshop, so that they can come and go depending on their time frame.
We will try to condense our outings to a couple of vehicles only on our photography outings depending on numbers. Whilst there I can take 3 to 4 people in my car and Sara can accommodate the same numbers.
